Bonnie and Clyde Looking for Their Forever Home

These two characters have been found on June 25th in Phoenix, Arizona and are currently looking for a new family who'd like to adopt them together. The two dogs are inseparable and are becoming a social media sensation on the shelter's Facebook page. The Maricopa County Animal Care and Control shared a photo of two dogs on Facebook who have formed a special bond. 6-year-old Bonnie is a female Labrador retriever and is rarely seen without her little "brother,” 1-year-old Chihuahua mix Clyde. As you can guess from the photos Bonny is described as “gentle and mellow,” while Clyde is known to be a “firecracker” who loves to run, play and seek attention. We hope they'll be adopted soon by a loving family.

Blind Dog Can’t Stop Kissing Her New Owner

Jelly, a 14-year-old Chihuahua mix, was recently abandoned by her owner at Baldwin Park Shelter in Los Angeles for unknown reasons. Elaine Seamans, a volunteer at the shelter, went to meet the dog not knowing what to expect, as old blind dogs are often unfriendly and protective of their personal space. The moment Elaine took Jelly in her hands she couldn't believe how sweet and loving she was, she started kissing her all over her face, shaking and looking for a cuddle. “I wasn't prepared for how incredibly trusting and sweet she was,” she said. “She never flinched or shied away from my hand as I started to pet her head. When I picked her up, she leaned into my chest and kept herself there no matter which position I was in. She needed love, and to hear and feel a heartbeat of some…

Mo Lost Dog

Lost Dog Spends 9 Months Alone in Mountains

Mo, a 12-year-old Chesapeake Bay Retriever, had gone missing on September 13, 2016 in Arizona. A former hunting dog, Mo accompanied her owners, Darwin and Cindy Cameron, on a hunting trip between Horseshoe Bend and Placerville, Arizona. She's been to those trips many times and was used to the area and relaxing in their camper. Somehow on the September trip though, Mo lost her way and never came back. For the next three months, the Camerons, who live in another state, stayed in the area searching for Mo with no luck. They finally stopped the search... Last month, dog rescuer Cheri Glankler found an elderly dog who collapsed in front of a nearby ranch. She started the search for her owners and posted this post on the Lost Pets Boise Facebook page: "This sweet senior girl was fou…

Lost Dog Euthanised Two Hours After Being Transported To Shelter

This is not the kind of ending you'd like to read when it comes to lost dogs reunited with their owners, but unfortunately it did happen a few days ago in Michigan. Capone, a 16-year-old pit bull mix, went missing from his Michigan home and his family was very worried and searching for him anywhere. The person who found him, Todd MacDonell, posted a photo of Capone on social media to search for his owners and took him to two vets and to Adopt A Pet in Fenton, Michigan until they finally moved Capone to Genesee County Animal Control Shelter. The owners were quickly located and they immediately went to take him back home. Just a couple of hours after the dog was taken to the shelter, he was euthanised. Capone's owner, Serafin Montoya was devastated, especially because the dog was w…

Lost Dog Reunited with His Dad Thanks to Instagram

This cute 2-years-old frenchie Gomi and his new friend Osita spent together only 2 days, but they formed a bond that cannot be broken. Gomi's dad, Micha Porat was driving home one night when he spotted something darting across the road. He thought it was a cat, but quickly realised it was a tiny Chihuahua who was terrified and wandering the streets all alone. It was obvious the little dog was lost and couldn't find her way home. Porat managed to catch the lost dog thanks to other passersby and took it home. When his cute French Bulldog Gomi met her, they immediately liked each other and became inseparable. Porat had little hopes that he could find the little's dog owners, but just in case he shouted out about their new friend on Gomi's social media accounts. Being kind of a celeb…

Stockholm attack dog Iggy

There’s Another Victim in the Stockholm Lorry Attack

Littles was said about the fifth victim in the lorry attack in Stockholm last week. The tragic terror act took the life of the gorgeous Iggy who happened to have his last walk in the area when the attack happened. The image of dog biscuits, candles and a dog's collar went viral on Saturday when Markus Krantz, 37, and his girlfriend who live just north of the city, went to the scene of the attack after it was re-opened to the public. They noticed that there's no mention of the poor dog who lost his life there. Markus used the collar of his dog who passed last year to create this touching memorial of Iggy. It turns our Iggy was a rescue dog from Dublin who was re-homed in Stockholm a few years ago. Following his post, Markus discovered that Iggy was a rescue dog from Dogs Aid Anima…
